The other places of interest at Capital such as Memorial Chorten which was built in memory of the late 3^rd King His Majestry Jigme Dorji Wangchuk which is beautifully built and its eye catching. In Punakha the Punakha dzong (fortress)  which the visitors claim it to be one of the beautiful fortress among all because of its strategic location between two rivers Pho chhu (male) and Mo chhu (Female) which literally seems like gigantic anchored ship. In Phobjikha, the winter home of the endangered species of black necked crane and also known as valley of black necked crane where you will be welcome by beautiful monastery on the ridge known as Gangtey Gompa overlooking Phobjikha valley which is the seat of Nyimapa sect of Buddhism. In central Bhutan Trongsa where it plays significant role in the history of Bhutan as it is the place where monarchy first raises to power in the Trongsa dzong. It is largest dzong in the country and has strategic location on the ridge having control over eastern Bhutan and western Bhutan. Further in Bumthang  it is a place where Indian saint Guru Padmasambhava have blessed and there are numerous temples and monasteries with beautiful landscape to which visitors claimed it to have similar vegetation and landscape as of Switzerland.
